The Ocalenie Foundation, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, and the Friends of the Museum invite you to the 7th edition of the exhibition Refugees Welcome: Artists for Refugees, and to the charity auction, the proceeds of which will go to helping people who have had to flee their homeland.
The charity auction Refugees Welcome: Artists for Refugees and the accompanying exhibition are gestures of solidarity through which the art community supports individuals in a refugee situation. The migration crisis has become a permanent feature of our world.

Curatorial description:
A painting/prophecy, or perhaps a painting/document? A freeze-frame from a film with the inscription “The End,” swirled by a gust of wind over a forest landscape, bringing with it lightness and bliss, or maybe revolution and crisis?
The winds of history are shearing off—micro, intimate, family histories, and macro, apocalyptic, epochal histories.
Dawn or dusk, the sun beyond the horizon marks our everyday “new.”
“The End” rises, flies off and disappears, making room for “The Beginning.”
Change is liberation.
